In a survey conducted on over 1200 companies in various industry sectors, to assist CRM buyers in making an informed purchase decision, Independent IT Analyst revealed that over 40 of CRM customers would not buy from their existing CRM vendor again, if given the opportunity. While sad, this is not too surprising from our perspective. I am often dismayed by the disinterest or even disdain a few CRM vendors treat comments made by their customers (or ex customers) on our website. I always give vendors right of reply but these are sometimes never responded to or often too late to be of any real PR value to them. While these CRM vendors are in the minority, they give the industry as a whole a bad name. So, the old adage applies: let the (CRM) buyer beware.
