Henley-on-Thames, UK, 1st April 2009 -- Portrait Software, a leading provider of insight driven customer interaction software, today announces the appointment of Luke McKeever as CEO, effective immediately. He takes over from retiring CEO Nick Randall and will be based at the company's UK HQ in Henley-on-Thames.
McKeever joined from Capital ID, a European leader in marketing operations software, where he was CEO focused on international expansion and partner development. He previously spent seven years with marketing platform vendor Alterian, latterly as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development. Whilst at Alterian, McKeever was instrumental in the launch and expansion of Alterian in the US and also managed the acquisitions of a number of specialist marketing technology companies and assets. He has also held management roles at Claritas and Experian both in the UK and internationally.
"There are two highly relevant factors in today's market that will propel Portrait Software through 2009 and beyond," comments McKeever. "Firstly, Portrait Software's momentum in the market place allied with our committed, blue chip customer base and growing industry analyst recognition. Secondly, in the prevailing economic climate, where marketing budgets are being squeezed, Portrait's products are ideally positioned to meet the challenges of today's marketers; how to keep existing customers, enhance customer profitability, mitigate risk and deliver outstanding customer experiences."
McKeever is open about his future plans. "The feedback I have received from our customers and partners is that Portrait Software is somewhat of a 'well-kept secret'," he says. "This year we aim to start letting a few more people in on the secret!
